Hello to all of you faithful readers and more. I am sorry for the delay in a new blogpost. I had to have some major shoulder surgery. It took me out longer than I expected. My hopes were to get a Memorial Day post out. But I’m struggling with getting my thoughts together. Pain from a shoulder replacement is very significant. It hurts!
I do have a brief thought though. This is our country’s (USA) national elections this year. Regardless what your political views are, the Lord desires us to pray for our country and its leaders. I have a Scripture I like praying when it comes to our country. It is:
“and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 HCSB
There is much more in this chapter. But I like to dwell on this one. I decided to try my best, and pray this verse every day for the rest of this year for my country.
I encourage you all to do the same. Whatever your country is going through, or what you’d like to see the Lord do for you and your country, take time and pray this verse over your country. I truly believe we can see miracles come to our land through the power of prayer and our Lord Jesus hearing us.
